Hot Hundred Bicycle Ride
at the end of University Blvd.
Cycle through the rolling hills in rural areas of West Central Alabama. Leave from historic Capitol Park at the end of University Blvd. in downtown Tuscaloosa and travel to remote Greene County. These lightly traveled back roads will take you through the small communities of Romulus, Jena, Mantua, Lewiston, Snoddy, and Ralph before joining Highway 11 in the Fosters community for the return ride to Capitol Park. All riders will be supported with sag drivers, mechanics, route signs, road markings, maps, and rest stops. Rest stops will be stocked with ice water, sports drinks, fruit, cookies, and other snacks. The rest stops will graciously be sponsored and staffed by volunteers from non-profit agencies. The proceeds from the North Harbor Hot Hundred will be used for the benefit of the mentally ill in our community through the efforts of the Community Mental Health Task Force.
